Pinnacle Partnerships is Hiring a General Manager Near Spartanburg, SC

Job Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead our team. The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, staff management, financial performance, and business development. This leadership role involves setting strategic goals, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The GM leads a team of department heads and frontline staff, fosters a positive work culture, and drives profitability while maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to all hotel departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and administration.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and performance metrics to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Recruit, train, and manage department heads and frontline staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and guest satisfaction scores to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional guest service and hospitality, ensuring that guest needs are met and exceeded throughout their stay.
  • Maintain effective communication with corporate management, ownership, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on hotel performance and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health, safety, and security standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, vendors, suppliers, and community partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Must adhere to the company's grooming, uniform, and dress code policies.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field (required); bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, achieving revenue targets, and driving profitability.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities, with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in hospitality management.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, financial analysis, and budget management.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
