Overview

We are looking for a Full-time (36 hours a week) Registered Nurse for an Inpatient Unit position in the Hospice setting. We are in need of an RN who can work 3x12-hour shifts. The Registered Nurse must be willing and able to work every Saturday from 7am-7:30pm and then 2 additional days of the week on a rotating schedule shared with the other nurses, one being a day shift (7am-7:30pm) and one being a night shift (7pm - 7:30am). The night shift is flexible and will be paid at a 10% shift differential! The Registered Nurse provides direct Inpatient Care in a clinical setting for terminally ill patient and their families while functioning within a medically approved plan of care. The RN will deliver services under the direction of the interdisciplinary team and be supervised by the IPU Clinical Nurse Manager. We will consider Registered Nurses who have at least 1 year of experience in any setting. This Hospice Inpatient Unit RN position is with a hospice company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HOSPICE INPATIENT RN POSITION: We will accept RN's with 1 year of experience in ANY setting, however if the nurse does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. Any experience will be accepted as long as the RN has at least one year of licensed experience. The RN must be Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse must have a current license in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card.
