PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for pre and post graphic production art development for graphic print projects. The position includes, but is not limited to, physical production and application of graphics to various substrates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS

· Understand and demonstrate company culture known as “The Pinnacle Way” in all internal and external business functions.

· Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, colors, and color sequences are correct.

· Prepare and ensure production art files are accurate for alignment, color scheme, correctness, and other details to ensure it is acceptable by the operating programs.

· Prepare and ensure materials required for print projects are properly loaded for print execution to any substrate.

· Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects.

· Operate and maintain the flatbed printer, roll-to-roll printer, laminator, and vinyl plotter.

· Monitor feeding, printing and racking of machines in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustments.

· Monitor stocks of materials to maintain supplies during equipment operation.

· Use cutters, exacto blades, and heat guns to maneuver, cut and fit graphics on to various substrates.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Knowledge in art design and ability to recognize necessary adjustments and fine tune general composition from concept art.

· Proficient skill in Adobe Illustrator and Corel programs. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Onyx Thrive RIP software is desirable.

· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

· Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.

· Ability to problem solve and have critical thinking skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Knowledge of graphic print equipment and operation.

· Basic math skills.

· Ability to read measurements.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
