We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing and knowledge of aseptic technique, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
Duties:
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assemble surgical instrument trays
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Operate sterilization equipment
- Follow proper procedures for handling contaminated items
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic technique, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
