Company is a global leader in the chemical industry, dedicated to advancing science and technology. We are seeking a motivated Chemical/Process Engineer Intern/Contractor to join our R&D team for a 12-month project focused on polymer compatibility with organic solvents and chemicals.
Position Summary:
The Chemical/Process Engineer Intern/Contractor will conduct research on polymer compatibility with various solvents and chemicals and design 3D models for septum and glove box concepts. The role requires chemical engineering knowledge, laboratory experience, and proficiency in 3D/2D design software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate polymer compatibility with organic solvents and chemicals.
• Design 3D models for septum and glove box concepts using CAD software.
• Handle and test chemicals in a laboratory setting.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments and results.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Free CAD).
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and chemical handling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Experience with machine learning, Python scripting, and data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Minitab).
