Identify, qualify, contact, and close new accounts in a timely manner.
Respond promptly to requests for proposals, information, and rates.
Meet or exceed assigned targets for revenue/profit/volume.
Review actual performance vs. forecast to catch shortfalls.
Use all possible tools to generate leads and pursue new business.
Work with operations to create SOPs and ensure customer satisfaction.
Inform clients of rate, service and market developments.
Main RequirementsGeneral knowledge of freight forwarding capabilities and services.
Track record of success in a sales capacity with an NVOCC/forwarder.
Understanding of market forces to stay ahead of the competition.
Proficient with MS Office and CRM software.
Resourceful, ambitious, enthusiastic, resilient, and positive.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Able to travel as needed.
