Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance)

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid: In-office and Work-from-Home)

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) with a proven track record of measurable career successes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, management, and oversight of all financial activities within the company. This includes business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance, as well as negotiations. The VP of Finance will play a crucial role in strategizing and planning for future financing and financial growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company’s financial planning and strategy.
• Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, tax, treasury, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage financial risks and ensure robust governance frameworks are in place.
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to guide decision-making.
• Collaborate with executive management to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Lead negotiations and manage key financial relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• CPA certification is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated success in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and drive financial growth.
• A robust professional network within the finance industry.
