Financial Assistant duties include processing revenue with the County Auditor. Review and receive purchase orders and expense reimbursement claims. Management of vendor contact information and payments. Preparation of monthly revenue and expenditure reports, coordinate fiscal data processing, and cross-train in payroll function to provide backup.Process and reconcile all electronic and paper check revenue with the County Auditor. Receive and review purchase orders. Establish new vendor accounts including contacting vendors to gather required paperwork, acquiring vendor numbers, and entering data into accounting software. Ensure all bills and invoices are processed and paid. Prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports. Balance with auditor’s monthly financial reports.Associate Degree in Accounting or related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Five years of related experience is preferred. Computer/ office equipment needed. Must hold and maintain a current, valid driver’s license. Background Check Clearance.
