Responsibilities of a Licensed Vocational / Practical LVN LPN School Nurse:
- Provides required medication/treatment for students as ordered by physician
- Assists the school nurse in physical screening and other appraisal evaluations
- Assists in initiating and maintaining health and other related records
- Adheres to schedules and performs other health related duties as directed
- Serves as a health education resource person to staff and students
- Provides health counseling services for parents, students and school personnel
- Maintains a health record for each student as needed
- Attends meetings as required
- Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
- New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
