Responsibilities Of a SNF Occupational Therapist
- Provides inpatient care to patients who are undergoing rehabilitation or recovering from an illness, injury, or disability
- Provides rehab services to residents
- Completing an assessment of each patient's needs
- Work with other staff members to come up with treat plans
- Focus on helping patients gain strength and skills to perform daily activities and tasks
- Help patients learn to perform task using new equipment such as a cane or wheelchair
- Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
