Pioneer Healthcare Services has an exciting opportunity for a School Psychologist looking to pioneer their way into Travel healthcare. A school district in Soldotna, AK is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join their team for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend. School Psychologists who work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated professionals who interact amongst diverse populations and are enthusiastic about the difference they make in their students' lives through assessment and treatment. This can be a travel or a local position.
Responsibilities of a School Psychologist:
• Conducts psychological assessments and develops case studies of individual students to determine educational needs, learning characteristics, and social behavior relevant to educational placement and instructional planning
• Evaluates the results of tests in relation to the cultural, environmental, and language backgrounds of students
• Participates in IEP meetings
• Counsels students individually and in groups to assist them in educational achievement and personal or social adjustment
• Assists with the organization of, and serves as a leader in, staff development activities in the field of psychological services
• New grads are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
• Grade level Pre K - High School
• 2024 - 2025 school year
