Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide mental health counseling and support to patients, focusing on pediatrics and chronic pain counseling. Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, utilizing various therapeutic techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist patients in developing coping strategies and skills to manage their mental health conditions
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of special education principles when working with pediatric patients
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Experience:
- Proven experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on pediatrics
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and medical terminology
- Familiarity with various therapy modalities and techniques
- Experience in chronic pain counseling is highly desirable
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
