Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with GIS skills to fill a full-time position in our Olympia, WA office. Responsibilities include:

• Project manager responsible for performing a variety of tasks including financial and environmental data analysis, GIS projects, and managing people
• Working directly with clients to provide them with the best customer experience possible by understanding their needs and delivering solutions
• Initiating and managing tasks using GIS and associated software
• Developing and maintaining environmental and financial databases, reports, and maps
• Mentoring and training staff and reviewing work for quality assurance

This role would fill a mid-level role in our Team between senior and junior levels, with a great opportunity to learn from senior staff and train junior staff. Strong upward trajectory and interesting workload including large-scale remediation projects throughout the USA and abroad.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, or related discipline
• More than 3 years of GIS industry experience
• Solid leadership and management skills, self-motivated, and possess a strong ability to meet deadlines, satisfy clients, and solve complex problems
• Ability to work independently in a team environment and to manage multiple projects with limited supervision
• Excellent data evaluation and mining skills and highly developed GIS skill set
• Self-motivated with a desire grow technical capabilities based on interests and project needs.

Ideal candidate would also have:

• Private sector consulting experience
• Excellent Project Management skills including customer experience management
• Sophisticated analytical skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
