Pipe & Plant, Inc. Accounting Manager Job Description
It is estimated that there are over 1.3M miles (over six billion feet) of sewer pipe in the United States, and over half of it is at the end of its usable life. The pipe is failing faster than cities or municipalities can replace it. As one of the three companies in the US that can do this well, this is where we step in and we are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for an opportunity to take the lead of a growing team. Not only is this niche industry recession-proof, but this job offers the unique opportunity to work alongside the key players driving this fast-growing company's success.
Who You Are
As the Accounting Manager at Pipe & Plant, you will utilize your full-cycle accounting experience to streamline processes, implement systems, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. With 5 years of experience managing accounting functions, you have a proven track record of overseeing payroll, month-end close, financial reporting, and more. Your construction industry background gives you an in-depth understanding of certified payroll, job costing, and the nuances of project accounting. Above all, you are a leader who enjoys mentoring others to success.
Pipe & Plant values leaders who are flexible problem-solvers. As our company expands, you will have the freedom to shape the accounting department with structure and innovation. Working closely with the executive team, you will play a strategic role in forecasting, budgeting, and guiding financial decisions. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic accounting function and take your career to the next level.
