Company: Zachary Piper Solutions Duration: Over 3 years Clearance Required: TS/SCI (must obtain CI Poly before onboarding) Full Job Description:Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Mid-Level System Administrator to join a cybersecurity team supporting a government customer. This position will require 5 days in office, located in Washington, DC, Reston, VA or College Park, MD, depending on the candidate’s location. Responsibilities/Overview:
Performing systems administration of cyber tools sets, specifically Fidelis and other insider Threat tools, and server systems connected to networks across multiple classification domains.
Provide support to developmental and operational systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
Install, configure and manage operating systems and application software as necessary.
Work on developing new processes to analyze root causes and resolve complex problems as it relates to Insider threat vulnerability.
Configuration and management of Windows, UNIX, and Linux. Installing and loading operating systems and application software.
Work will be either independent, within a small integrated team, or a combination of both.
Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience as a system administrator.
Experience with Insider threat tools that compare to Fidelis tools.
Experience with operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux servers.
Knowledge of Splunk and HBSS, as well as similar security tools.
DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification requirements (currently Security CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA , GICSP, or CND).
Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework
TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a counter-intelligence polygraph.
HS diploma or GED and seven years relevant experience, associate’s degree and five years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range $135,000-$145,000
