Essential Duties of the Mechanical System Engineer:
- Responsible for planning, executing, and tracking the engineering development and qualification efforts of weapons systems.
- System qualification test planning and coordination.
- Briefings to safety and engineering oversight boards.
- Providing written and oral program status reports.
- 5 years of experience with DoD weapon system acquisition in a systems engineering-focused environment.
- Knowledge of energetic system test and evaluation
- Understanding of explosive train technology and functionality
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- B.S. in Engineering
- $130,000 - $160,000 (based on experience)
