Piper Companies is looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join a thriving government integrator. This is an onsite role, located in Indian Head, MD.Essential Duties of the Mechanical Systems Engineer:
- System qualification test planning and coordination
- Briefings to safety and engineering oversight boards
- Providing written and oral program status reports
- Risk management
- Technology readiness assessments
- Milestone and Engineering review meeting coordination
- Bachelors of Science in Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience with DoD weapons systems acquisition
- Knowledge of energetic system test and evaluation
- Understanding of explosive train technology and functionality
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required
- Up to $160,000 (based on experience)
