Full Job Description:Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Senior NetOps Specialist to join a team focused on operations and maintenance of the MCEN’s classified and unclassified networks. This position will require 5 days in office, located in New Orleans, LA.
Responsibilities/Overview:
- In charge of infrastructure and network operation oversight, by responding to alerts and events in a timely manner.
- Coordinating infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.
- Responsible for incident resolution and ensuring that all appropriate responses are escalated.
- Configuration changes/new configurations of router, switches, firewalls. Network troubleshooting and handling incident escalation for network outages.
- Oversee daily shift activities, while recording and reporting outstanding issues. These will then be provided to Government representatives.
- 8 Years of IT Experience
- Experience maintaining, administering, configuring, and troubleshooting MCEN Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- IAT Level III Certificate
- CCNP preferred; Must have CCNA to Start
- Can obtain waiver for 6 months for CCNP if they have CCNA
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Salary Range $75,000-$110,000 (based on experience)
