I have been engaged by global Solar EPC firm on the search for an Interconnection Manager who have been ranked in the top 25 of Solar EPCs in the US, over past 10 years they have built distributed generation and utility-scale projects totaling 4.5GW.

The Grid Interconnection Manager will oversee utility grid connection processes for all solar projects, ensuring compliance with Interconnection requirements and facilitating a smooth energization authorization process.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and coordinating documentation, providing design input, and collaborating with various stakeholders, such as substation and PV engineers, local utilities, and grid operators. The engineer must also contribute to the development of commissioning plans, stay updated on industry requirements, and actively manage project-specific success criteria.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree
• P.E Preferred
• 7 years experience with 2 years of experience in grid tied generation projects.
• Experience with Interconnection requirements in multiple operating jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of power plant modeling with PSCAD & PSSE.
