We are partnered with a publicly-traded innovator in breakthrough battery technology known for serving both utility and C&I customers with safe, scalable, efficient, and sustainable energy storage solutions for over 15 years. Following their recent successful fundraising, we are seeking an experienced treasury professional to establish and lead a growing team.

This is a brand new, player/coach role reporting into the company CFO with regular interface to the Private Equity Sponsor and Board of Directors. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced leadership team with a well-capitalized growth strategy and Blue-Chip backing. The ideal candidate will have experience establishing a strong corporate treasury function in a public or private equity backed environment.

Responsibilities & Core Competencies Include:

Capital Management:

• Define and execute the overall capital strategy to support growth plans.
• Secure funding through various channels and manage debt-related facilities.
• Monitor and manage debt services and maintain cost-effective financing structures.

Treasury and Cash Management:

• Oversee daily cash management, including liquidity requirements, bank balances, AP, AR, and more.
• Manage borrowings and ensure effective use of credit facilities.
• Handle foreign exchange transactions, deal settlements, and investment of excess cash.

Benchmarking and Analysis:

• Develop comprehensive benchmarking and reporting tools to support strategic decision-making.

Management Reporting:

• Lead the preparation and presentation of management reports, including cash forecasts and equity reports.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Stay informed on market trends and macroeconomic factors that impact the company’s operations.

Covenant Management:

• Ensure compliance with all lender covenants through robust reporting and monitoring.

Credit Management:

• Manage the credit function, including policy enforcement and credit assessments of counterparties.
• Maintain the credit portfolio and ensure timely invoice payments.

Risk Management:

• Oversee the company’s insurance coverage and develop risk management policies.
• Support the development of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.

Financial Modeling:

• Collaborate with FP&A to develop and maintain financial models for corporate planning and capital raising.

Tax Compliance:

• Work with the Chief Accounting Officer to optimize tax compliance and manage tax credits.

Relationships:

• Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and financial institutions to support continuous improvement and benchmarking.
