Join our growing family today! The Quality Inspector is responsible for providing QA support to the manufacturing and packaging process. This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Responsibilities:Maintain and control electronic and non-electronic documents according to SOPsMonitors associates’ adherence to cGMPs.Thoroughly audit all production records and determine batch dispositionPerforms set-up and in-process testing to ensure products meet specificationsVerifies cleanliness of rooms and equipment visually and by ATP testingPerforms AQL testing when requiredPerforms swabbing for environmental monitoringReviews document to ensure compliance to GMPSMaintains the storage of retain samples and batch recordsInvolved in determining root cause for quality issuesCoordinates and supports various quality functions and projects as neededInteract between departments for quality purposesData entry of quality data into computerFiling of all quality testingAdditional duties as assigned Qualifications:Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job trainingHigh School Diploma or GED is required, Associate’s degree is preferredMust be able to read and write in EnglishComputer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is requiredMinimum of 1 year experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing setting is requiredProject management skills are a plusExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and organization skillsMust be able to multi-taskAbility to work autonomouslyMust be able to lift 50lbsWork environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours. We are drug free workplace, regulated by the FDA, required to follow Federal Guidelines; therefore in order to start as well as maintain employment, you must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines. Piping Rock Health Products LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
