The ideal candidate is energetic, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, has strong written and oral communication skills, knowledge of RFP processes, experience writing and submitting RFPs, and a passion for education. The individual filling this role would be a member of Pitsco’s Development team and would interact on a daily basis with Learning Specialists, Project Manager, Marketing team, and Sales Support staff. This individual will help to create presales documents (narratives) for the all new Pitsco Education curriculum/project opportunities, while also leading an RFP evaluation team and conducting high-priority grant research/RFPs. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Leading the RFP evaluation team

• Managing all facets of RFP process

• Creating documentation for RFP responses

• Researching high-priority grants and RFPs

• Staying informed of all new Marketing initiatives and product offerings

• Maintaining Pitsco’s grants repository

• Maintaining Pitsco’s grant registrations

• Creating presales documents (narratives)

• Providing text for printed professional development materials in conjunction with Learning Specialists

• Conducting research on state academic courses and specific school district information, as assigned by the Educational Program Designers

• Overseeing the process of curriculum correlation report development and distribution

• Coordinating correlation projects for all Pitsco Education curriculum/products

• Maintaining correlation information databases, spreadsheets, and tools

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Technology literacy required

• Excellent organizational skills required

• Bachelor’s degree in education/communication/marketing preferred

• Prior experience writing and submitting RFPs

• Ability to write persuasive text

• STEM subject matter expertise preferred

• Group leadership experience required

• Ability to learn quickly and perform duties independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner

• Must work well in a team environment, especially with remote workers

• Knowledge of state and national education standards

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds in a general office setting

• Ability to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop
