Job Description:

The General Manager’s primary responsibility and accountability includes providing an exceptional and successful customer experience while leading and maintaining the day-to-day operation of the Store in compliance with established policies and procedures and local laws and regulations. The General Manager plans and implements the daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure that overall KPI’s and company targets are consistently achieved. They are responsible for coaching and empowering each team member’s performance and success in their individual roles. The General Manager will promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers. General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members. General Managers are committed to leading by example at all times.

Job Responsabilities and Requirements:

Financials:

  • Prepare and manage monthly operating budget of the collision center.
  • Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision business.
  • Review and approve hourly timeclock records, and employee attendance daily.

People:

  • Deliver quarterly performance reviews, as well as informal monthly check-ins.
  • Ensure staff training is current, and schedule additional courses to meet our training standards.
  • Regularly cover safety topics and ensure the team is following all safety standards. This includes all PPE and safety shoes.
  • Lead and manage all teams as a servant leader and set the example of collaborative partnership.
  • Attend training, information sessions, and workshops that will enhance your status and certification in the collision field and your business acumen. Review with the Senior Leadership Team for approval before registration.
  • We consistently recruit top talent, recognize our top performers, and use this example to uplift the entire team.

Business Operations:

  • Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
  • Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth.
  • Conduct daily production meetings/walks to confirm throughput and delivery targets. Perform morning and end-of-day closing huddles to review operations and bottlenecks.
  • Review all estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with our business and Burea of Automotive Repair standards.
  • Oversee the sales, overall production, and administration of the location.
  • Ensure insurance and DRP accounts are appropriately managed, and the team regularly communicates and updates our partners.
  • Ensure the location will meet all requirements of OE and I-Car standards.
  • Perform final quality check and accounting audit of repair orders on finished vehicles.
  • Leadership may and will assign additional duties as the business progresses.

  • Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of the Collision Industry, including a high-level understanding of insurance procedures and requirements for a variety of carriers
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve successful results
  • Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software, CCC ONE
  • Proficient with Computers, text, video, and other technology
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a high volume of activity.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Management or leadership roles where you have failed and learned from your mistakes
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish is a plus)
  • Apprenticeship under a great leader or coach
  • Diverse background and fields of business
  • Ability to break and fix things
  • A high school diploma, college degree, or MBA is helpful but not required
  • Technician, bodyman, or painter experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,888.88 - $188,888.88 per year
