Vitro Automotive Glass operates glass manufacturing plants, fabrication facilities and distribution centers worldwide that are solely focused on the production of automotive glass. This scale allows us to provide the quality and technology required for large volume OEM production, while bringing that same attention to detail and quality to our automotive replacement glass (ARG) operations.

The position coordinates various plant accounting functions, including cost accounting, monthly closing, inventory controls, plant production reporting and cost analysis. Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the BOMs, routers, and cost cards in SAP. The position will be responsible for developing various aspects of the plant's cost budget and ensuring that the cost and general accounting systems are updated to be consistent with the budget.

Process daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
• Update cost data for corporate reporting.
• Prepare reports for local management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Review new and existing part build information for accuracy.
• Review development BOMs, routers, and costing information prior to production.
• Prepare cost models as needed.
• Prepare journal entries and reports for month end close.
• Review at-risk inventory listing and obsolescence.
• Assist with annual budget preparation.
• Assist with annual year-end closing tasks.
• Audit cycle counts and assist with year-end physical inventories.

• Bachelor's degree, with Accounting emphasis or major is preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing is required.
• Minimum of 2 plus years of progressively more responsible business experience
• Detailed knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Highly motivated to learn and work in a hands on environment
• Highly effective communication and organizational skills are essential
• Skilled in using Microsoft programs.
