The Senior Cost Estimator prepares cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or engineering services to aid management in bidding on or determining the price of a product or service.
The ideal candidate will use their relevant experience to add value and make a significant impact as a Cost Estimator for one of our Federal Government clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer contractor evaluation and source selection for contract award.
• Manage project execution to ensure adherence to performance, cost, schedule, and deliverables throughout the project's life.
• Develop and prepare detailed cost estimates by utilizing the knowledge of base cost estimating tools for government sources.
• Lead, plan, and/or organize process improvement teams to maintain and establish performance quality levels, including accuracy and timeliness of estimates

Key Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years’ experience building a thorough lifecycle cost estimate independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or a qualifying substitution of 9 years in an engineering, technical, or business discipline
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity of the DoD (Department of Defense), Military Health System and/or the Defense Health Agency is highly desired
