Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Paralegal with experience in construction and manufacturing. The role involves preparing and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, and managing documentation for construction projects and manufacturing operations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting and reviewing construction contracts, subcontracts, and supply agreements.
• Conduct legal research on construction and manufacturing laws and regulations.
• Manage documentation, including change orders and lien waivers.
• Support construction claims, disputes, and litigation, preparing pleadings and discovery documents.
• Develop and implement compliance programs for safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate information flow.
• Maintain organized legal files and documentation.
• Assist with due diligence in mergers and acquisitions involving construction/manufacturing.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal or Legal Studies.
• Paralegal certification preferred.
• 3 years of paralegal experience in construction or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of construction law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with construction or manufacturing project management software.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Familiarity with litigation support and document management systems.
