Accounts Receivable Specialist/Supervisor

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the accounts receivable team and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments

- Addresses and corrects any discrepancies in accounts or billings.

- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due accounts

- Review journal entries, debits, and credits for accuracy

- Collaborate with the other department to reconcile discrepancies

- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when communicating with clients regarding payment status

- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards

Qualifications:

- Associates degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelors degree preferred

- Previous experience in a supervisory role ; at least 3 yrs experience in related field preferred

- Proficiency in accounts receivable processes and technical accounting

- Strong understanding of financial concepts and mathematical principles

- Knowledge of GAAP guidelines and regulations
