MARKETING BUSINESS PRODUCT MANAGER (CONTRACT)
Location: Remote (PST Preferred)
Duration: 12 Months JOB DESCRIPTION Marketing Operations is the backbone for all of Marketing at Client. We support our stakeholders by upholding a high standard of operational processes and governance across our marketing systems. We strive for constant improvement and ensure there is alignment across teams and departments.
s a Marketing Business Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the business strategy and vision, prioritizing requirements, and driving operational excellence. You will work closely with key stakeholders in IT, Marketing Operations, Digital, and Sales to support all aspects of campaigns development and improving lead generation processes through our CRM and marketing automation platform. As a key decision-maker, you will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.
In this role, you will: •Act as the advocate for Marketing and its customers, gathering feedback and insights to inform product development and improvements
•Develop, own, and manage clear business requirements for improvements and enhancements related to Marketing Operations and infrastructure that align with organizational goals and objective
•Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand system functionalities and roadmaps, product customization needs and implementation processes
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent Marketing in the software development lifecycle, actively participating in product reviews and sprint planning
•Work closely with stakeholders to identify, prioritize business requirements and create, maintain functional user stories that align to business requirements
•Prepare current/future state and system documentation along with training materials, and perform detailed gap analysis
•Define and track desired outcomes (OKRs) to measure project success and ensure alignment with business goals
•Contribute to retrospectives, sharing insights and feedback for continuous improvement
•Take a leadership role in decision-making, obtaining cross-functional leaders' sign-off on requirements, design, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
•Define test criteria and perform acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of deliverables and make informed decisions regarding project readiness and whether to proceed with implementation
•Troubleshoot lead and data alignment issues across marketing automation platforms and CRM
•Become a Marketing subject matter expert in a wide range of systems including Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Allocadia, and other 3 rd party tools and advise on best practices
•Foster communication and information flow between global and geo marketing teams
QUALIFICATIONS To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
•Bachelor's degree in Business , Marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of delivering material business benefits from collaboration with Marketing, IT/development, and other cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and continually improve innovative, customer-centric Marketing software solutions
•5 years of experience in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred) and 3rd Party integrations; Adobe Experience Platform strongly preferred
- 5 years experience and proven results in defining Marketing (lead management strongly preferred) use cases, users stories, and business requirements
•Experience with database schema design, data cleansing/appending, data exporting
•Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and OKRs
•Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership abilities including the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear, concise manner
•Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT, Marketing, and product teams
•Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, cross-functional teams, and communicate with all levels of management
