Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Process payments using cash registers and handle cash transactions - Provide product recommendations and upsell items to customers - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area - Assist with food preparation as needed - Operate Aloha POS system for order entry and processing - Ensure compliance with sanitation standards in food handling Experience: - Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a grocery store or food service environment - Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math - Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively - Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting - Knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous Join our team and enjoy the opportunity to grow your customer service skills while working in a dynamic environment.
