Delivery Driver Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and responsible delivery drivers to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. A good job candidates main responsibilities include accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all transactions run smoothly and every customer is satisfied with the service. Our drivers must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner. Excellent communication skills are paramount to help us continue to delight our customers and provide them with an outstanding experience.

A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.

Main responsibilities:

• Taking customer orders by answers the phone
• Managing transactions, making sure pricing is accurate
• Accepting payments and providing receipts
• Bagging purchased goods
• Assisting the Cashier Team with the prep of to go items
• Assisting the Cashier Team with to go orders

Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver:

• Answers the phone, takes orders and cleans as necessary
• Delivers finished menu items to guest’s home or office
• Keeps car clean and in good working conditions
• Keeps pace with incoming delivery orders
• Assists in answering phone, taking orders, doorhanging and kitchen duties as needed, including dishwashing and trash disposal
• Assists in making pizza sauce and folding boxes.
• Knowledgeable of menu and can describe menu items
• Knowledgeable of current specials and promotions
• Responsible for following security procedures
• Scanning goods and making sure pricing and quantities are accurate
• Accepting payments in cash, credit or gift certificate
• Providing change and receipts
• Issuing coupons, punches and gift cards
• Processing returns and refunds, and resolving customer complaints
• Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate
• Assists in other areas of the restaurant when needed
• Responsible for completing opening and/or closing checklists
• Other duties as assigned by Company Management

Delivery Driver Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good driving record
• Safety-first mentality
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints
• Sense of urgency
• Speak clearly and listen attentively to supervisors and employees
• Ability to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours in length
