PKF O'Connor Davies, LLP is Hiring an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Near New York, NY
Location: NYC or Stamford, CTPKF Investment Banking is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join our growing M&A advisory practice. Successful candidates should have strong cognitive and interpersonal abilities, want to develop their professional and personal skills and are motivated by the prospect of building a leading M&A advisory firm. As an Analyst/Associate at PKF Investment Banking you will work closely with senior members of the Investment Banking team in preparing analyses, executing M&A transactions, and participating in due diligence. This is an opportunity to join an entrepreneurial investment banking firm which is supported by a leading accounting and advisory platform. Essential duties include but are not limited to the follow:
Perform financial and valuation analyses
Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including confidential information memoranda and management presentations
Conduct market research
Identify potential buyers or acquisition targets
Facilitate due diligence
Interact with senior bankers and clients’ senior executives
Qualifications
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as modeling skills
Strong project management experience
Possess strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
M&A, capital raising, investment banking, accounting or other relevant experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree and/or work experience in Finance, Business or a related field
Minimum of 1 year Investment Banking work experience required
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and transaction execution
Series 63 and 79 licenses or ability to obtain within the first three months of employment
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
