Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial construction or manufacturing, with a preference for those with experience in commercial construction. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project management, from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and quality.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Help manage project budgets and control costs.
  • Attend project meetings and take detailed minutes.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial construction or manufacturing.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
