Hospice / Palliative Care Physician

Medford, Oregon

Permanent / full time / employed

We have an exciting opportunity available for a dual board certified/eligible palliative care/hospice medicine physician to join our palliative care team in Medford, Oregon.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Palliative Care consults and follow-ups

• Provide pain and symptom management

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Assist with continued development of Palliative Care programs

• Participate on the Ethics Committee

• Provide education in-house, as well as for the community

The focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care and the staff is very friendly and team oriented to work with. A great mentoring environment is provided and there is plenty of room for professional growth and advancement. A healthy work-life balance is encouraged!

THE DETAILS

-Guaranteed base salary of $220,000 per year

-Annual performance incentives up to 16% of base

– $50,000 signing bonus

-$15,000 relocation assistance

-$5,000 annual CME allowance

-30 days of paid time off per year

-Excellent health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits

THE QUALIFICATIONS

** MD or DO license (or eligible) in Oregon is required

** Board certification / board eligibility in hospice and palliative care is required

** Physicians right out of residency are welcome to apply
