Planet Forward is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Brookfield, WI

Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Brookfield, WI

Salary: $60,000 - 75,000 (Pay based on experience level of candidate)

On-Site Position

Key Notes:

- Bachelors Degree very highly preferred

- 1-2 Years of Good HR Experience in a fast paced work environment

- Manufacturing a plus but not required

- They will take a look at someone with good TA/recruiting and benefits type experience and he is willing to train them up. Pay will be commensurate on experience

- Will look at Degreed with internship and a year or so. Willing to train

- Will work on Benefit and benefit enrollment & recruitment initially while they start to learn the rest of the processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

  1. Administer Absence Management, Recruiting, and COVID-19 Process.
  2. Manage College recruitment and internship process.
  3. Manage Recruiting process by scheduling interviews, offers and scheduling pre-employment medical appointments.
  4. Administers corporate COVID-19 process in accordance with the Corporate COVID Committee.
  5. Assist with production employee presentations during annual open enrollment period in 4th quarter of each year. Arrange for distribution of plan summary materials and required notices, assist with communicating changes to employees and arrange for onsite representation by providers. Process changes within deadlines.
  6. Strive to ensure employee understanding of all HR benefits programs by regularly generating communication and counseling employees/dependents as situations arise. Resolve employee complaints related to health and welfare plans, refer difficult or very complex complaints to manager as needed.
  7. Administer company communications through Paylocity and on company Televisions throughout all plants.
  8. Coordinate and assist with the ACA and ERISA benefits reporting requirements.
  9. Conduct new-employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of policies & benefits plans and enrollment provisions. Counsel employees (and potential employees/applicants) on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed benefits decisions.
  10. Act as a back-up resource for payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policies and regulations. Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.
  11. Assist Operations in response to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints and investigations.
  12. Assist Operations with production employee’s performance reviews.
  13. Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.
  14. Represents the company in unemployment claims.
  15. Assist with preparation of the annual affirmative action plan.
  16. Perform outreach to community sources as needed.
  17. Other Duties as Required.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 – 2 years of experience preferred;
  • Or 2 years of college and 3 – 5 years of progressively responsible related experience;
