Our client, a leading global telecommunications, Satcom company, seeks a seasoned Program Manager Leader for their R&D/Production facility in Concord, California. This crucial role within their Product Development department demands a candidate with exceptional technical expertise, stellar communication abilities, and a knack for swiftly resolving program challenges.Leading the ChargeAs the on-site Program Manager, you'll spearhead program initiatives, collaborating closely with both the core program team based in Denmark and the local Concord, CA partner. You'll foster strong working relationships to ensure seamless program execution.Core Responsibilities

Oversee the conception and execution of new products and upgrades.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Plan and manage timelines, monitor spending, and effectively utilize company resources.
Conduct program status meetings, reviews, and financial tracking.
Develop, maintain, and execute risk and opportunity management strategies.
Ensure product compliance with initial system requirements.
Uphold company Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) protocols.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) is mandatory; MBA a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager (PJM) or 3 years as a Program Manager (PM) in a technical field.
Experience in an environment developing, producing, and deploying electro-mechanical devices is essential.
Prior knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Modems, and similar technologies is highly desirable.
Proven experience working with clients and representing the company is necessary.

Work Environment and FlexibilityThis is a full-time position based at the client's Concord, CA facility. Remote work opportunities exist with proper scheduling and team coordination, depending on program phase.
