Content Producer (Radio- Music Programming)

Location: New York City, NY

Schedule: Flexibility to be onsite 5 days per week as needed

Pay: Up to $59.15 per hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for a Content Producer with a background in Radio or Music Programming to join our well known Fortune 50 client on a 6-month, 40 hour per week contract. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about the radio industry and will require flexibility to be onsite in their New York City office as needed.

Content Producer Responsibilities:

• Creating radio programming for channels.
• Work with high-level talent and artists for different programming tactics.
• Ability to develop show outlines, story arcs, and conduct required research and prep.
• Write and script various segments for the programming.
• Adapt content production to fit various host voices and talent.
• Bring reliable, trustworthy and excellent judgement to editorial segments that are being created.
• Source and generate creative ideas on a constant basis.
• Know and can support the end-to-end technical process in the studio.
• Manage content production schedule to ensure productions run to time.
• Understand how to pivot and be flexible with talent, guests, contributors, and overall talent changes.

Radio Producer Qualifications:

• Highly experienced content production radio producer with an understanding of pre-recorded and live radio production.
• Minimum of 5 years experience leading a high level, live or pre-recorded radio production preferred.
• Must possess a and readiness to learn about emerging technologies or new equipment.
• Experience acting as the point of contact for key cross functional relationships including PR & Marketing.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to motivate, lead, and inspire the team and talent they work with.
• Strong writing skills for speech and platform.
• Curious, a fascination with music, people and a love of story-telling.
