Job Title: Manager of Operations
Location: NYC 10032
Hours: 35hrs work week
Onsite: 9am to 5pm (1 hour for lunch). 5 days in office
3 month contract; possible temp to perm depending on performance
Job Summary/Description:
The manager of operations will assist with purchasing/ordering items for administrative operations. As well as assist with various administrative tasks related to the daily operations of the office. They will support the setup of open houses, orientations, conferences, and other school events. Meet with staff and faculty to understand their needs, coordinate with the University Facilities Office using the online ticketing system and in-person organization, and streamline maintenance and custodial operations in the university department. They must be comfortable handling, lifting and moving furniture, perform minor repairs, and carry out building tasks such as drilling, mounting fixtures, and coordinating the delivery of heavy equipment and packages.
