Planet Technology is Hiring a Workday Payroll Systems Implementation Consultant Near New York, NY
Contract Length: 9 months
Hours : 8-5pm
Hybrid/ Remote: 3 days on-site in Manhattan Office. 2 days remote per week.
Project Details: Project Manager with Payroll
Our client is in the process of migrating their payroll system from ADP to Workday. They have a partner doing the implementation. Go live is set for Jan 2025.
Strong functional knowledge of payroll. They are implementing Payroll, Tax and Direct Deposit. They have about ~3K seasonal employees. The tax piece comes in because they have employees that work and live in different places.
Must haves:
* Experience with Payroll/HR systems implementation (e.g Workday)
* Solid payroll data knowledge and testing knowledge
* Strong functional understanding of payroll systems
* Ability to act as a Business Analyst with the implementation partner. Guide and direct conversations. Dig into details, doing the mapping of data and help to translate the data and test as needed.
Nice to haves:
* Multi-state payroll experience
* Methodology (Waterfall or Agile)
* PMP
