**Hourly Pay starts at $34/hour based on experience** TUITION REIMBURSEMNT ASSISTANCE FOR 2024 Graduates! Must have Nursing degree and Nursing licensure.
JOB SUMMARY:
- RN license required. OB/GYN, recovery room or emergency room experience preferred.
- Maintain active Ohio RN license and operate within “Standards of Safe Nursing Practice for Registered Nurses” as specified by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- ACLS certification required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Knowledge of contraceptive technology preferred.
- Previous experience interviewing, education and crisis intervention skills with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a medical emergency.
- Able to write and speak English.
- Ability to operate a computer, keyboard and multi-key telephone.
- Ability to function well as a team member.
- Ability to treat patients with respect and sensitivity.
- Ability to communicate professionally with individuals of diverse backgrounds in a non-judgmental manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sensitivity in dealing with clients sexuality and reproductive healthcare choices.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays and rotate through after-hours medical call system.
- Ability to lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, sit, talk, hear, stand, bend, walk; use hands and fingers,
- Ability to get to the work site; also other PPSWO health centers and meetings when required.
- May be exposed to communicable diseases and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV.
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.
