COPYWRITER (REMOTE)Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the copywriter position will work alongside the marketing team to support
various writing assignments, including e-mail, website, social, printed, and digital collateral. This position must be comfortable and confident in communicating with different people on the marketing team.
What's On Your Plate
- Help iterate and grow PLANTA’s brand voice, ensuring we’re consistent across all touchpoints and concepts
- Lead the drafting and editing of long and short-form copywriting (social, e-mail, website updates, etc.)
- Partner with the design and marketing team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and work on solutions to optimize.
- Attend campaign kick-off meetings and examine various project briefs, paying close attention to marketing objectives and copy requests.
- Stay abreast of the food, hospitality industry, and social media trends as well as the competitive space.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant writing experience
- Excellent writer and a stickler for perfect grammar
- Portfolio showcasing past work
- Understanding what type of copy performs best across different marketing channels (Instagram, TikTok for social media), email, website, and PLANTA collateral
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once, often with tight deadlines
- 20-30 hours per week, remote, eastern time zone
- Knowledge of Asana, Slack, and Emplifi is a plus
