DescriptionThe job of our school-based SLP involves:
Identifying students with communication disabilities
Planning, implementing and establishing treatment plans
Coordination of the IEP and speech evaluation process
Pre-referral intervention process
Providing direction to general education teachers
LicensesMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid license
CF with Valid Provisional SLP license
Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA
ResponsibilitiesIdentifying students with communication disabilities
Planning, implementing and establishing treatment plans
Coordination of the IEP and speech evaluation process
Pre-referral intervention process
Providing direction to general education teachers
