We are seeking a Medical Assistant - Medical Back Office to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This position requires strong communication, computer, and telephone skills between patients and primary care providers.

Responsibilities:

• Telephone messages and other electronic communications.
• Explaining treatment and results to patients as given by treating provider
• Adult and Pediatric care
• Communicate with patients and call backs
• Escort patients to exam rooms and perform vitals
• Sending medications and referrals as directed by the treating provider
• Give injections and immunizations as directed by treating provider
• Doing routine procedures such as EKG, urine tests, flu/strep tests, and other items as directed.

• Graduate of Medical Assistant program
• Strong knowledge of common medications
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Eclinicalworks or EHR experience a plus
