Job Details

Job Location: Mosharrafa Plastic Surgery PLC - Phoenix, AZ
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $24.00 Hourly

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for back office of reconstructive surgery practice.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization

2. Specific job responsibilities:

a. Backup support to answer phones by or before 3rd ring to meet practice standards

b. Confirm surgery scheduling with anesthesiologists and facilities and confirm arrival times with patients one day prior to surgery

c. Review new patient information provided by patients in Nextech and contact patient to obtain any missing information

d. Assist in other activities as needed throughout the office

e. Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

3. Collaboration/Oversight of team members:

a. Managing schedule and directing front office staff related to cancellations, consultations, etc.

b. Collaboration Patient Coordinator with new consultations quotes

c. Assist Patient Coordinator with surgery scheduling

d. Assist Patient Coordinator with collection of payments from patients pre-op

4. Provide patient information and education to achieve positive outcomes

5. Thorough and timely documentation of care accurately

6. Collaborate effectively with other members of team as appropriate

7. Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects

8. Participate in the performance appraisal process

9. Use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships with team members

10. Pursue professional growth and participates in a professional organization

11. Act as a patient advocate and maintains privacy and confidentiality of all appropriate information

Qualifications


Education/Licensure/Certification

· High School Graduate

· College education preferable

Qualifications

Preferred:

· Two years health care related experience

· Basic computer skills (eg, Microsoft Word®, Excel)

Working Conditions:

· High volume telephone calls

· Able to multi-task

· Exceptional Customer Services skills (telephone and in-office).
