Our client is a PE-backed warehouse software management firm. They are looking to hire a GM who will help drive growth domestically and eventually offshore, steering all aspects of sales and marketing in addition to focussing on the commercial operations of the business.

This is an influential role that will advance organisational priorities. You will have commercial ownership of high-growth initiatives and champion the development of the business’s objectives. The GM will be based in Sydney and the Founder of the business will move into a Head of Development role. You will work closely with the PE owners.

Ideally the candidate will have been trained in IB or consulting and have entrepreneurial experience either via founding a business or working within a software/telco business, deeply involved in the day-to-day operations. It is likely that the experience range is within 7-12 years. We would also be willing to consider candidates who are currently Head of Sales in a similar business and is looking to step up. It is imperative that this person can add strategic and operational capability, has very strong interpersonal skills and is excited to be in a high growth company as they scale up operations.
