Fleet Manager – Ready Mix/Transportation – Savannah, GA

Position Overview:

• Responsible for administering and oversight of company’s ready mix, tandem-haul, and long-haul fleet.
• Accountable for overall success of fleet program including safety, regulatory, and training outcomes.
• Self-starts and executes without continuous management by Senior Leadership. 
• Success in this role will come to someone who has excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ fleet management experience or similar experience
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
• A working knowledge of DOT regulations on logbooks, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Ability to utilize fleet management software and systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel
• Ability to develop, administer, and communicate training program
• Ability to develop, administer, and drive accountability for daily pre-trip and other required or needed safety inspections
• Continuous oversight and accountability of keeping fleet clean and up to company standards
