American Veterinary Group is hiring a Director of Database Marketing. Reporting to our VP of General Practice Marketing, you will focus on increasing client volume and awareness through direct-to-client communications. You will lead the marketing data strategy and own the client communication roadmap.
The Director of Database Marketing will leverage their technical and marketing expertise to drive engagement and improve the experience of our clients and pets, primarily through data-driven marketing and project management. This role will work closely with the Operations and IT teams to harness data analytics, marketing automation, and digital tools to develop and execute targeted campaigns, projects, segmentation strategies, and client-focused initiatives.Key Responsibilities

• As a key member of our marketing department, you will develop and execute database marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and retention.
• Utilize data analysis and insights to identify customer behavior and segmentation.
• Manage and maintain extensive databases to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of database marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
• Monitor and track key metrics to evaluate the success of database marketing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization through data analysis.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in database marketing.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to developing long-term marketing goals.
• Communicate database marketing insights and results to key stakeholders.
• Continuously seek out new technologies and tools to enhance database marketing efforts.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy in all database marketing initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration or related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing analytics. 
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and recommendations that have led to improved marketing performance and business growth.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data analysis techniques using PowerBi, Tableau, or other data visualization tools. 
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies.
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. 
• Excellent understanding of data privacy and security regulations. 
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
