Job Position: Maintenance Generalist
Job Location: Sanford, NC

Job Description:

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year mechanic work experience or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program. Can be a combination of employers.

Responsibilities:

• This position requires that you be able to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• This position also requires trouble shooting of various mechanical issues in an industrial setting.
• This position requires the use of SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation that is required in the system.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
• The Team Member will work on their feet for a period of 12 hours.
• The Team Member will work in warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees.
• The Team Member will work in wet/ and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.
• The Team Member may be exposed to airborne particles (primarily flour dust), and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection.
• The Team Member will complete all required training, both hands on and computer based, as required for the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Industrial maintenance: 3 years (Required)
• Electrical systems: 2 years (Required)
• Mechanical: 2 years (Required)
• Food industry: 2 years (Required)
