# Senior Graphics Developer

Our mission is to create the ultimate gaming software platform that can power any type of gaming hardware with the entire PC gaming ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior Graphics Developer who is passionate about games and 3d graphics to help us design and optimize our entire graphic stack.
## Role
As a Senior Graphics Developer, you will be helping us design and implement solutions for our entire graphics stack from the window management system to the DirectX -> Vulkan virtualization layer all the down to graphic driver requirements on a variety of platforms (x86 and ARM).
## Responsibilities

• Review and improve our existing window management system. Help us extend it for XR.
• Review our entire graphics stack and come up with a plan to simplify and optimize it where possible
• Review and improve the DirectX to Vulkan virtualization layer
• Collaborate with chipset companies on driver requirements and optimization
• Help removing dependencies on X11 to move to a full Wayland implementation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, integrate new technologies, and foster innovation.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Assist in technical design, ensuring solutions meet business needs and comply with architectural standards.
• Contribute to technical documentation to support development efforts and maintain system integrity.
• Help refine technical processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Manage technical tickets and assist in their lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and effective task management within the team.

## Must-Have Skills

• Extensive experience in graphics development, preferably in the gaming industry
• Proficient in C/C
• Excellent knowledge of Shaders and shader management in general
• Excellent knowledge of DirectX, Vulkan and OpenGL
• Strong ability to perform precise graphics profiling
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

## Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience optimizing graphics for games
• Graphics driver knowledge
• Knowledge of Wine, vkd3d, dxvk
• Good knowledge of X11 and Wayland.
