Pluckers Wing Bar is Hiring an Outside sales representative Near Austin, TX

Pluckers is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for catering and events. We hire based on aptitude and attitude and are seeking a person that thrives off the desire to improve every day.

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for soliciting and booking catering and in-store events for the Austin, San Antonio and DFW areas.

This position is responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing the deal and nurturing the relationship.

This individual must be organized, coachable, and dogmatic.

Pluckers is a 30-unit restaurant chain based in Austin, Texas. We are currently in an aggressive growth period and will continue to open new restaurants in existing markets and expand to new markets.

The Position and Responsibilities :

Self-generate leads by prospecting businesses along with cold / warm calls to identify potential catering clients

Determine viability of catering and in-store party prospects and, if viable, continue to move them through the sales cycle

Generate appointments with potential clients via phone, email and other channels to understand their catering needs and identify opportunities

Spend a minimum of one week per month in Austin, San Antonio and DFW attending lunch meetings or in-office tastings with potential and existing clients to sell and solicit new and repeat business through a proactive sales approach

Maintain and expand client base by building rapport with key accounts and clients

Work with Catering Sales Manager, Area Managers and restaurants' management teams to resolve any issues, complaints or problems

Work with VP of Marketing and Catering Sales Manager to increase catering revenue

Obtain referrals from existing clients to continue building the sales pipeline

Maintain excellent records via Salesforce or other CRM

Prepare catering quotes and invoices to deliver to client and restaurants

Act as liaison between corporate office team and restaurants' management teams

Attend daily and / or weekly meetings to assess progress toward sales goals and plan of action to reach sales goals

Qualifications :

3 years previous business to business sales experience including lead generation and cold calling

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, adhere to deadlines and perform duties with minimum supervision

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Prefer previous customer service skills / experience (bonus if you have a strong understanding of the Pluckers culture and values)

Ability to travel 12-16 days per month on 4-5 consecutive day trips (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle.

A valid driver's license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.

Positive, can-do attitude (you may be asked to do something outside of your "job description")

Bonus Qualifications

Experience selling catering or hospitality services

Experience using Salesforce as CRM

Hours and Work Environment

Working typical office hours with the occasional evening and weekend hours as business needs dictate to maximize prospective customer contact.

Working out of the restaurants

Weekly travel between Austin, San Antonio and DFW to attend meetings with catering clients at Pluckers or via in-office tastings

Salary :

Up to $70,000 per year as a base salary during the training process which lasts 2 4 months, based on experience.

After the training process is completed, this position will be eligible for commission

Gas reimbursement for time your car is used for Pluckers with an amount to be determined.

Training Schedule :

2-4 weeks in the corporate office with the Catering Sales Manager

After you have completed your initial office training, the Catering Sales Manager and / or a trainer will spend time with you in meetings and client interactions until they feel you are fully trained.

Pay : $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
