Are you ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment? As our Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in boosting our operational efficiency, driving company profitability, and delighting our customers.
Your Mission: orchestrate the smooth, accurate, and safe delivery of customer orders and intercompany transfers while assisting the Location manager in managing all daily warehouse activities.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead and Coordinate: Direct warehouse and delivery teams to ensure all operations run safely and efficiently.
- Optimize Operations: Oversee daily workflows, ensuring top productivity, accuracy, and product availability.
- Efficient Receiving and Storage: Ensure merchandise is received, stored, and documented following company policies.
- Shipping Excellence: Supervise order routing, loading, and preparation for shipment, adhering to customer instructions.
- Maximize Efficiency: Streamline delivery routes by coordinating with all departments.
- Handle Transfers: Oversee accurate and timely inter-company inventory transfers.
- Process Shipments: Manage incoming shipments swiftly and accurately, checking for damage and discrepancies.
- Cycle Counts: Schedule and participate in daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup, following special instructions meticulously.
- Load Safely: Ensure trucks are loaded securely to prevent product damage.
- Paperwork Precision: Process and print paperwork accurately and on time.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, maintain certification, and perform safety checks.
- Positive Communication: Maintain clear, positive communication with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and secure.
- Continuous Improvement: Upgrade your skills continuously and mentor less experienced staff.
- Customer Relations: Handle customer interactions with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
- Team Spirit: Foster teamwork and a cooperative work environment.
- Professional Image: Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Commit to Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and promote a drug-free workplace.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Effective time management and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Ability to recognize and understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes.
- Compliance with OSHA forklift operation requirements.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
- Understanding of basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Technical expertise in company products.
- Team player with the ability to work productively with diverse groups.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar position and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years in a progressive position.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Product/applications experience required.
- Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
